Telos means ‘meaning’ or ‘goal’ in Greek and this is what we stand for.
We believe in the value of collaboration and diversity. That is why we, Han Yin Bong and Rachel Thoms, have joined forces in our practice Telos. As two highly experienced coaches and professionals, we bring our unique work and life experience, different outlooks, personality and expertise.
We work both independently and together. Especially on larger projects, we have the experience that we strengthen and complement each other. With individual coaching, you choose the coach with whom you have the most affinity. At the same time, you are assured of coaches who keep each other sharp and of a strong network of other professionals with whom we are affiliated, should additional expertise be needed.

Han Yin Bong
I am Han Yin Bong (1967, drs Business Economics) and as a coach and interim HR professional I have been a sparring partner for (senior) management and employees in both Dutch and international organisations for some 20 years now. Entrepreneurs and individuals also find their way to my practice. In recent years, I have also been coaching more and more young adults struggling with life and work.
From a deep interest in who people fundamentally are and what drives them, I coach teams and individuals in their development. So that people start applying their talents to come into their own. Even when the going gets tough.
I completed my training as a coach/counsellor at the European Institute and the Dutch Academy for Psychotherapy. As a person (and as a coach) you never stop learning, which is why I regularly do refresher courses. My coaching is integrative and is based on the idea that there is a connection between the way you think, how you feel and how this translates into actions. Depending on your question and what suits you, different approaches can be used.

Rachel Thoms
My name is Rachel Thoms (1971) and I support organizations, teams and individuals to discover and realize their potential and possibilities. I am fascinated by human behaviour and always looking for opportunities to help people understand their behaviour and actions and to realise their ambitions and wishes. That is the common thread in my career and that is simply what drives me.
There are many reasons I like to work with Han Yin as co-founder of Telos Coaching. Together we aim to support you to get the best out of your professional and / or private life. Of course, you decide what that ‘best’ is. As a coach, people experience me as relaxed, knowledgeable, supportive and engaged.
In my professional career I have worked internationally (Shell, Accenture, KPN) in change management consulting, in various HR and leadership roles and as a coach. Through studies and training I have further developed myself and specialized in human resource management and development (Msc), change management, coaching, counseling and psychology at the Dutch Academy of Psychotherapy and Henley Business School.
I am a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and the NOBCO and am certified Profile Dynamics consultant. For my full CV I would like to refer you to my Linkedin profile.
Originally I am from Stratford upon Avon (UK) and I came to the Netherlands in 1996 to work as an expatriate. Now I live in The Hague with my family.
I coach clients in the English and Dutch language.
